The CRA's Adult Learning Division focuses on the adult reader and adult literacy programs such as ABE, GED, workplace and family literacy. The on-line journal was begun because members of the Adult Learning Division believed practitioners in the field of adult literacy were underserved. Through this journal, adult literacy practitioners have an opportunity to read articles written by other adult literacy practitioners. They also have a chance to publish their own articles.
