I like history. This is a great opportunity to explain not just what you do, but why you
do it. Without being over romantic, what is the shared passion that, through the life
of your organization, provided the power? How do you connect with the community?
Who pays the freight? How much, to who and for what end? What does it mean to
the student?

I have to come up with something for New Student Orientation into the
basic skills program. Anyone have any ideas, beyond the "rules and
regulations" that students need to know or that they find is helpful to
know.
