It was simple to create the cards and the markers on the computer using short words or clip art. Basically, I determined what I wanted people to learn and I fit the game around those topics. The game went over really well - especially when the participants realized they would win fun prizes. For example: Question: What food is high in calcium? Answer on the card: picture of a milk carton For difficult questions you might add a hint. Such as: It goes well with cereal or a brownie. Hope this helps, Mondi ----- Original Message ----- From: <G4DNeri@aol.com> To: Multiple recipients of list <nifl-health@literacy.nifl.gov> Sent: Friday, January 07, 2000 1:51 PM Subject: [NIFL-HEALTH:2106] Heart Health Month Activities > Hello, All - > > I am trying to plan a fairly short, interactive program for a group of > seniors in our rural area for February, which I believe is designated Heart > Health Month by whoever officially decides such things.
