Hi. There is an asthma program at Hartford Hospital that uses an
'asthma-jeapordy' to educate its hipanic patients about asthma care. I
don't know if this is what you're looking for...

Activities

		Hello, All -

I am trying to plan a fairly short, interactive program for
a group of
seniors in our rural area for February, which I believe is
designated Heart
Health Month by whoever officially decides such things. As
you can imagine,
some of these folks don't hear well, don't read well or at a
high level, have
little formal education beyond high school, etc. ETC. I was
thinking of
trying to develop a kind of game show format. Have any of
you done such a
thing with either this topic or others, especially related
to chronic illness
or preventive issues? Do you have any ideas or insights to
share about the
best way to do this, or if there's something free or
relatively inexpensive
out there somewhere that can be purchased? I really want to
do something
fun, with lots of audience participation. For
style.....bingo? Jeopardy?
Wheel of Fortune? You probably get the picture.

I would greatly appreciate any thoughts or suggestions you
have!

		Thanks,
		Donna
