Hi,

I am working on a project with the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics at the University of Pennsylvania to develop more reader friendly versions of the Consumer Assessment of Health Plans Survey (CAHPS), which is already a nationally used patient satisfaction survey. We are working on both illustrated and interactive voice-response systems, targeting low literacy populations including a Spanish-language version.
It's early in the 3-year project, so it will be some time before we have anything new for the field, but we are working on it.

If you'd like to know more, you can contact me directly and I'll try to be helpful, but remember it is early on in the project.

Best,
John
