Anne,

I am doing exactly such a thing at Bellevue Hospital, New York City's largest
public hospital, serving 80 nationalities, speaking 35 languages, every
month.
I have given two lectures on 1) the relationship between poor literacy and
poor health, and 2) cultural competence to ER residents and med students.
It's just a beginning. We are seeking funds to develop a full curriculum.
