I ran readability tests on them, and most of them fall within a 4th to 6th
grade level, although some of the sites also include handouts that test at
a higher level.

I have these sites bookmarked, and often I'll add a site that I'm pretty
sure is around a 4-5th grade level, then run a readability test later when
I have more time. I also assess layout. I found some ETR handouts test at
a 4th grade level but layout/font/etc makes them hard to read.
