I just realized that these resources are even better suited to your needs to develop a training for health care coordinators! The resources are the Health and Literacy Special Collection, on the NIFL-LINCS website, and the main document listed on that site, which is called the Health and Literacy Compendium. You can get to these through: www.nifl.gov (click on LINCS, then Collections, then Health and Literacy) There are materials listed which can help you develop curriculum for bringing health education to low literacy populations.
