Along with the resources for adult literacy teachers and students, we now have a page dedicated to resources for Health Care Providers and Health Educators. This page can lead you research on the links between literacy and health status and also to practical information about communicating with low-literate patients and promoting the importance of health literacy in a health care setting. We are pleased to include on this page soon: a link to the new site from Health Literacy Studies at the Harvard School of Public Health, which was recently introduced on this listserve by Rima Rudd. You can find this page at: <http://www.worlded.org/us/health/lincs> and click on "Health Care Provider/Health Educator Resources" Julie McKinney Coordinator, Health & Literacy Special Collection World Education (617) 482-9485 jmckinney@worlded.org
