I went to the CIA site and looked at literacy information for the USA. I
found the following:
definition: age 15 and over can read and write
total population: 97%
male: 97%
female: 97% (1979 est.)
This leads me to wonder if the information about all the other countries is
equally distorted.
Anyone know the source of the CIA data?
Linda
