For those of you who don't know Archie, he is one of the founders, the past resenident, and the current President Emirtus of VALUE: Voices of Adult Learners United for Education. (Correct me, Archie, if I don't have that title just right.) Archie is an adult learner who has obviusly overcome much and now spends his time representing adult learners in any forum he can. He is always quick to encourage us all with his notes on progress at many levels. Could there be an adult learner somewhere is your professional who is or could be recruited to become nvolved in health literacy as a leader and advocate? Deborah W.
