Can you post the citation? During the individual interviews I conduct, I ask participants to answer questions that measure their comprehension of key messages. Some of the key messages are written in black text, some of the key messages are in color. I have not seen a drop in comprehension levels based on the use of color text. Of course, I'm doing qualitative as opposed to quantitative research. Has anyone on the listserv conducted research or know of research that measures comprehension according to text color or comparing different text colors (blue, green, purple, red, etc.), particularly when colors are used on a selective basis to highlight the most important messages?
