My name is Kate Singleton. I am an adult ESL literacy specialist in Fairfax County, VA. I would be very interested in reading the materials you wrote about. I will be giving teacher trainings later this year at the state and hopefully national level on strategies and materials to use to help the adult immigrant population to be more self-advocating in the US healthcare system. A large part of this is helping people to understand more about the concept of preventive care. The books you describe could be useful, if the language is suited to adults of limited English proficiency, in drawing people into preventive care topics and providing them with necessary terminology and concepts. If the books appear useful, I would be in a position to publicize them to adult ESL programs and social workers who work in a health education capacity in VA. Also, I'd be interested in seeing a catalog of your company's publications. Thank you.
