I read your health site and recognize that, in our increasingly diverse
country, culturally competent approaches to reaching individuals must be
implemented. I'm a family physician and am currently getting my MPH at the
University of Washington. I'm trying to identify culturally competent
approaches to gathering information from limited English-proficient patients
about their health care experiences and satisfaction with health care in
hospital settings. Would your organization have any information to share
with me; perhaps, culturally competent approaches to providing education and
testing that have some lessons on what does and does not work that can be
adapted to health care settings.

I appreciate your feedback.
Thank you.
Rosalie Miller, MD
