This is not information regarding the specific book some members of the
list are looking for, but I'm wondering if the Cross-Cultural Health
Care Program (CCHCP) at Seattle's Pacific Medical Center might be a
starting point to locating the book. There may be a contact person
linked to their Web site. The CCHCP was established in 1992 with a large
grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. To quote their web page, "The
CCHCP's primary goal is to improve the health care of communities that
face linguistic and cultural barriers to receiving health services."

Their Web site is definitely worth a visit. I contains profiles of the
Arab, Cambodian, Eritrean, Etheopian, Lao, Mien, Oromo, Samoan, Somali,
South Asian, Soviet Jewish, and Ukranian communities in and around the
Seattle area.

Hope this is helpful.
