Your kind messages are appreciated. There is a PA coming into our clinic two and a half days a week as of last Friday to fill in for our doctor until she comes back at the end of September. I was able to see the PA on Friday and I’m on a new cholesterol-lowering drug now. I knew that I would find help for my cholesterol problem sooner or later if I did not give up. Ever day adults with literacy problems are falling through the cracks in many different ways. Those of us with literacy problems have learned in school to give up in situations like this. The little things about health and literacy in this country need to be talked about.
