Many people are generously sharing information about how they are participating in Health Literacy Month 2001. I will summarize this information and report back to NIFL-Health at the end of this month/ beginning of next. I do want to let you know, however, that the Health Literacy Toolbox Web site, www.prenataled.com/healthlit/default.asp which we used for Health Literacy Month 2000 will close down as of October 31, 2001. It's been a valuable site chocked full of good information, but is now showing signs of age. Rather than spend my energy keeping this site up-to-date, I have decided to focus instead on the new Health Literacy Month Web site. My thanks to the many people who helped build and sustain the Toolbox.
