To all,

It's a delight to let you know that my second book has just been =
published. "Partnering with Patients To Improve Health Outcomes" is =
about a model of care in which patients and providers work together to =
improve the patient's health. It is written as a tool that providers can =
use to incorporate partnering into their clinical practice. Of note, one =
of the chapters looks at meeting the needs of individuals and presents =
information and a case discussion about literacy and health literacy.

Several NIFL-Health subscribers partnered with me on this book. I am =
enormously grateful to those who shared their clinical experiences and =
expertise, as well as the many hours people spent reviewing drafts, =
offering suggestions, and humoring me throughout the process. This book =
is a model of collaboration - thank you.

For more information (including how to order) this book or my first one, =
"Overcoming Communication Barriers in Patient Education," please visit =
my Health Literacy Consulting Web site at www.healthliteracy.com. Feel =
free to also e-mail me at helen@healthliteracy.com.

Best regards,=20
~Helen =20
