I am trying to convince my agency of the need for addressing the formatting they use for placing information on the net to improve readability for EVERYONE - not just those typically with a label with a reading disability or "literacy" problem. I am not sure if I am framing the question incorrectly because I have had the assistance of research librarians that turn up nothing. Any help in the right direction would help - Maybe one really good resource with a reference list? Thanks Cherryll ------_=_NextPart_001_01C1AF28.87CD83F0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <META content="MSHTML 5.00.3315.2870" name=GENERATOR></HEAD> <BODY> <DIV><FONT face=Arial><SPAN class=765180116-06022002>I have been searching with intense effort for quite a while (over a year!) to locate documentation/resources on the following:</SPAN></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial><SPAN class=765180116-06022002></SPAN></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial><SPAN class=765180116-06022002>Issues in formatting for Readability on the Internet</SPAN></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial><SPAN class=765180116-06022002></SPAN></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial><SPAN class=765180116-06022002>This is based on a presentation I was present at over 3 years ago that discussed what most of us know - people read and assimilate information differently on the Internet (computer).</SPAN></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial><SPAN class=765180116-06022002></SPAN></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial><SPAN class=765180116-06022002>I am trying to convince my agency of the need for addressing the formatting they use for placing information on the net to improve readability for EVERYONE - not just those typically with a label with a reading disability or "literacy" problem.</SPAN></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial><SPAN class=765180116-06022002></SPAN></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial><SPAN class=765180116-06022002>I am not sure if I am framing the question incorrectly because I have had the assistance of research librarians that turn up nothing.</SPAN></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial><SPAN class=765180116-06022002></SPAN></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial><SPAN class=765180116-06022002>Any help in the right direction would help - Maybe one really good resource with a reference list?</SPAN></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial><SPAN class=765180116-06022002></SPAN></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial><SPAN class=765180116-06022002>Thanks</SPAN></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial><SPAN class=765180116-06022002>Cherryll</SPAN></FONT></DIV></BODY></HTML> ------_=_NextPart_001_01C1AF28.87CD83F0--
