Hello List Members!

I am writing with news and an opportunity for you regarding "The Health
& Literacy Special Collection". This is an online collection of
resources for anyone who works to pass on health information to adults
with limited English literacy skills.

New Features:
We have just added an index, which allows you to find materials by
health topic or language. We also have a feature called "e for easy",
which lists those materials most appropriate for adults with very low
English literacy skills.

The Health & Literacy Special Collection can be found at:
www.worlded.org/us/health/lincs

We Need Your Feedback!
We are looking for 20 health professionals to give feedback on what
kind of resources would be helpful to you in addressing health literacy
in your community. If you are a health care provider or health educator
who has direct contact with patients or community members with limited
English literacy skills, then please consider replying.

Get a Free Gift!
In exchange for answering a short questionnaire, we will send you the
new video, In Plain Language, which explains how low levels of literacy
can have a huge impact in health care delivery. You will also get a copy
of the journal, Focus On Basics: Literacy and Health, Volume 5.

If you are interested, please DON'T HIT REPLY, but send an e-mail
message to:

Sabrina Kurtz-Rossi: skurtz@worlded.org

She will send you the questionnaire, and give you more information.

Thanks and Happy Spring to all!

Julie McKinney
