This magazine goes to allied health professionals (nurses, OT's and PT's) in the greater Boston area. Most months, I interview someone who is experienced in the topic I am writing about. This interviewee shares stories, tips, and resources for frontline clinicians. In turn, he or she gets press and visiblity. As a bonus, most even say that the interview process is fun. While I usually interview people in the Boston area, I have at times interviewed "NIFL-Health notables" from around the country. I'm planning to write a column about "Teaching Tools on a Budget" and would like to interview one or two of you about this topic. While you need not be an "expert," I'd love to hear your perspective about what works and what doesn't work. To learn more, please contact me directly (do NOT reply to this message) by e-mail at: helen@healthliteracy.com or by phone at: 508-653-1199. I need to hear from you no later than May 17, 2002. For those of you who want to read any of my "On Call" articles, please visit my Health Literacy Consulting Website at www.healthliteracy.com and click on "articles."
