X-Listprocessor-Version: 6.0c -- ListProcessor by Anastasios Kotsikonas X-Mailer: AOL 6.0 for Windows US sub 10571 Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="part1_43.b93fb3b.2a15a6c5_boundary" Status: O Content-Length: 1974 Lines: 39 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit I am revising some nutrition education materials to seventh grade level and looking to the LISTSERV for practical assistance. As many of you know, detailed nutrition education involves lists of foods to "choose" and to "limit." The way that seems most readable and visually organized is bulleted lists that have been chunked into food categories. The layout and design consultant hates this and my boss "doesn't like the way it looks." I am new to health literacy, but am totally committed! Any advice? Is there a better way? I've gotten some good advice from books and a wonderful mentor from UNE, but am I missing something that is totally obvious to you experts? Thanks for your help. mj Mary Jo Kurko Coyne, MPH.
