Thought I’d keep you up-to-date with two nuggets of health literacy news --
Health Literacy Month and Health Literacy TeleClasses.

As most of you know, October is Health Literacy Month (HLMonth). Many of you
have told me about your plans and I’m delighted to share the news that there
have been, or will be, HLMonth events in at least 21 states in the US, 5
provinces in Canada, Israel, and even New Zealand! I encourage you to see
who is doing what and get on the “Health Literacy Map” by visiting the
Health Literacy Month Web site at www.healthliteracymonth.com

In support of HLMonth, I continue to offer Health Literacy TeleClasses on
this and other topics of interest to health and literacy professionals. I’ve
included a brief listing (below). To learn more and register for these
