ANNOUNCING
The Second Annual Fall Health Literacy Institute:
"Write It Easy to Read” 
November 3 - 6 in Albuquerque, New Mexico

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
This nationally-recognized course covers all the basics of "plain language" writing and reader-friendly document design. You'll learn in a hands-on environment, developing a piece of your own. You will have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with an instructor as well as to get feedback from a specially-trained graphic artist. 

This is the same great workshop offered for the past 12 summers in Maine - same trainers/same curriculum.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Health and patient educators, writers in government agencies and voluntary health organizations, health promotion managers, health care administrators, nurses and other clinical care providers, nutritionists and dietitians, social workers, substance abuse and mental health counselors, managed care specialists

WHO ARE THE SPONSORS?
Riffenburgh & Associates, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the Maine AHEC Health Literacy Center, University of New England, are co-sponsoring this event. Audrey Riffenburgh, MA, and Sue Stableford, MPH, MSB, are the primary trainers. Ms. Riffenburgh has been on the Summer Institute faculty for 4 years and Ms. Stableford has taught since its inception.

Tuition is $599. Workshop will be held at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Albuquerque.
