Reading is Fundamental (RIF) has a program called Shared Beginnings that is
targeted at teen moms. Shared Beginnings is a series of classes that
emphasizes, among other things, benefits of reading aloud. I believe each
class has "book time" and/or "baby time." The info and grant application
can be found on the web site www.rif.org . The classes can be offered at a
health center and can incorporate health info.
Hope this helps. :-)
