Dear DeAnne,
I understand that you want a curricula on "how to access health care in
the U.S." specifically for ESL classes. I have a Web site that could be
adapted for use in an ESL program or any literacy program. While it is
cancer specific I think the site has wide applicability. If you are
interested I can send you training manuals for the English and Spanish
language workshops. The training manuals will be posted to the Web site
in the near future. The Manuals will guide anyone who is interested in
conducting training programs or workshops.
Take a look at the "Resources" section of www.CancerInfoNet.org which is
available in English and Spanish.

ESL
I am looking for existing materials or curricula on "how to access
health care in the U.S." that have been designed specifically for ESL
classes. If anyone knows of any ESL programs that regularly teach health
care access skills, that would also be useful information. Thanks!
