Martha,

I can highly recommend Helen Osborne. We invited her to speak at our annual
Caregiver's Conference put on by an educational committee with the Texas
Agriculatural Extension Service a couple of years ago. She was terrific (as
a person and as a speaker)! She thoroughly investigates the target
information and what is of particular interest. She is organized,
knowledgeable and personable.
 Her contact information is:

Health Literacy Consulting, Natick, MA

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Subject: [NIFL-HEALTH:4298] Recommended speakers?

Hello all -

Does anyone have names of speakers/presenters they could highly
recommend? We are thinking of having breakout sessions, workshops
and/or possibly a keynote speaker on the topic of health literacy for
our annual network conference next fall, and are in the process of
developing a "wish list" of possible invitee(s).

Someone who also has practical medical (especially cancer or blood
disorders) and/or federal gov't experience would be very persuasive, I
think. Please feel free to respond privately, so as to no clog up the
list.

Many thanks!
