Greetings, all,

Janet, I appreciate you posting about your experience in our training on
easy-to-read materials. You referred to the Maine Summer Institute. The
founder and sponsor of these Institutes is Sue Stableford, Director of
the Health Literacy Center at the University of New England. Our other
co-trainer was Wendy Mettger, health literacy consultant and trainer out
of Takoma Park, MD. The Institutes were offered every summer for the
last 12 years. Sue posts information about the upcoming Institutes on
this listserv.

You're right, we all do presentations and workshops on this critical
issue. I had already contacted Martha so we're off and running. Thank
you, again, for your post. For others who may want it, my contact
information is below. Feel free to contact me if you would like Sue or
Wendy's email addresses as well.
