The conference is designed for those working in healthcare, education, health literacy, and those with an interest in literacy as it relates to healthcare issues. Of key interest will be a presentation given by Rima E. Rudd, Sc.D., lecturer from the Harvard School of Public Health and a member of the Institute of Medicine's (IOM) Board on Neuroscience and Behavioral Health Committee on Health Literacy. Dr. Rudd will present the much-awaited findings from an IoM report to be released this spring on the subject.
