Emma,

Another nice book is Baby Basics from the What to Expect Foundation
(www.whattoexpect.org). A variety of other low-level health lit titles for
native and non-native speakers of English are described in the Virginia
Adult Ed. Health Literacy Toolkit in Section C
(http://www.aelweb.vcu.edu/publications/healthlit/sections/c/secC-p7.pdf).
