Stony Brook University (New York) located in Long Island, New York operates
an Adult Literacy Center in conjunction with Literacy Suffolk,
Inc.(formerly Literacy Volunteers of America, the Patchogue-Medford
Literacy Consortium, and the Middle Country Public Library. The Center
provides one to one tutorial services for employees, patients, and others.
We also provide health literacy educational services to health
professionals,health professions students, patients, and local community
