We also produce disease prevention education materials available free through our website, www.pkids.org. We have recently become interested in health literacy, as it directly influences the usability of the educational materials we produce. I am wondering if anyone can recommend a software program that assesses the readability level (eg, 6th grade) of a text document. We are hoping to find a service that is free on or through the Web. Thank you for your time, Franji Mayes PKIDs (Parents of Kids with Infectious Diseases) PO Box 5666 Vancouver, WA 98668 360.695.0293 main 360.695.6941 fax 877.557.5437 toll free www.pkids.org franji@pkids.org
