Click the link below to view the listing of all of our sessions and speakers for the program. http://apha.confex.com/apha/132am/techprogram/program_387.htm I also want to inform you of three additional Caucus events. On Sunday, November 7, 2004 at 2:30 - 4:30 PM at the Convention Center, the Caucus will sponsor its annual Interfaith Celebration: Reflection and Renewal. This event has become a wonderful unifying and uplifting event and sets the stage for the sessions that follow throughout the week. This year, 2,000 invitations were sent to churches within the DC area, inviting their attendance and participation. We are very excited about this potential community connection and involvement. The Annual Business Meeting of the Caucus will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2004, from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. All current and future members are encouraged to attend this important meeting to elect our new officers and to set the Caucus agenda for the coming year. If you will not attend APHA this year and wish to renew your membership or join the Caucus for the first time, please contact me directly for a membership form. Annual dues for the Caucus are $15.00. Through an enormous gift of a benefactor, the Caucus on Public Health and the Faith Community will have an Exhibitor's Booth in the Exhibit Hall - Booth #1244. The Exhibit Hall opens on Sunday at 2:00 and closes at 12:00 on Wednesday. Our booth will open AFTER the Interfaith Celebration on Sunday, but will have coverage throughout the Convention. Please stop by the booth to learn more about the Caucus and related faith-based initiatives of our members and others. I will spend most of my conference time at the Booth. Finally, I discovered just today that my contact information on the program is incorrect. I left UNC almost three years ago. My correct contact information is listed below. On behalf of the Caucus, I personally want to thank Mrs. E. Yvonne Lewis, Program Chair, and her efficient committee for putting together another fine program for the Caucus. We NEVER could have done it without you, Yvonne!! I look forward to seeing many of you during the Convention. Have a blessed day!
