The resources listed below all include something on one of the topics
you mentioned, but you will have to weed through them to find specific
brochures.

I would start with MedlinePlus's Easy to Read health topics in Spanish
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/spanish/easytoread/all_easytoread.htm
l

The Twenty-Four Languages Project has added audio to their resources,
and you can look at their Spanish Langugage brochures
http://medstat.med.utah.edu/24languages/spanish.html

The FDA has Easy to Read Spanish brochures
http://www.fda.gov/opacom/lowlit/spanlow.html

If you look at the NN/LM multilinguage health resources page
http://nnlm.gov/train/chi/multi.html you might find more. There is a
Spanish language section.

Subject: [NIFL-HEALTH:4591] Spanish language Health education materials
for Latinos

Hello,

I am trying to locate pamphlets/booklets designed for Latinos/Hispanics
in Spanish dealing with asthma, HIV/AIDS, STDs, tuberculosis, hepatitis,
flu, pneumonia, organ transplantation. Since most Spanish speaking
Latinos also have low literacy, low literacy materials would be
particularly helpful.

Does anyone have information on this?

Thanks,

Margarita
