I am trying to find a graded words list in Spanish. The approach
involves Item Response Theory (IRT)", a method for scaling individual
items [in this case, words] for difficulty in such a way that an item
has a known probability of being correctly completed by an adult of a
given ability level."

I need a Spanish language text similar to "The Stieglitz Informal
Reading Inventory: Assessing Reading Behaviors from Emergent to Advanced
Levels, 3RD edition" by Ezra L. Stieglitz, August 2001.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Thank you

Subject: [NIFL-HEALTH:4591] Spanish language Health education materials
for Latinos

Hello,

I am trying to locate pamphlets/booklets designed for Latinos/Hispanics
in Spanish dealing with asthma, HIV/AIDS, STDs, tuberculosis, hepatitis,
flu, pneumonia, organ transplantation. Since most Spanish speaking
Latinos also have low literacy, low literacy materials would be
particularly helpful.

Does anyone have information on this?

Thanks,

Margarita
