Hello

This is a request for Tools/ Guidelines / Checklists to assist people
working with consumer health information.

The intent is to provide or develop an agreed upon standardized/ quality
assurance approach to selecting and writing health information
to be posted on the web.

There would be approximately 20 principal information specialists
involved plus many more contributors.
Presently, I have located 14 sets of guidelines, 12 of which are more
appropriate, particularily in design area, for print material
The group(s) work in the electronic media . An area which I believe
distances the average consumer seeking health information by the
"digital divide"

My background includes extensive work with hthe community and I believe
the gold standard to be working with the intended audience.
Also, I beat the drum loudly about including people with a range of
literacy and language skills.

I look forward to the reponse.
Thank You.
Elsie Petch
