Dear Literacy Provider,

The Northeast Adult Literacy Conference takes place from June 14th - 16th at
the York College of Pennsylvania. Pre-conference activities begin on June
13th. Tutors of Literacy in the Commonwealth (TLC) invites all adult
learners, volunteer tutors, administrators and staff to the Northeast Adult
Literacy Conference.

Established in 1987, this conference brings together literacy providers and
adult students from seventeen states to share and discuss topics such as
tutor training, adult learner and tutor support groups, ESL, learning
differences, volunteer management and more. This year the conference
includes family literacy, the new GED, administrative issues and topics
relevant to the field of adult literacy. There will be keynote presentations
by Marie F. Hassett and Sam Deep. The pre-conference on June 13th includes
leadership training for students, LLA Basic Training Skills training, LVA
50/50 Management Workshop, and Learning Differences training.

If you have any questions or would like to receive a copy of the
registration packet, please call 814-867-0203 or email us at

Sincerely,

Tutors of Literacy in the Commonwealth
