its own,
where the student can learn by themselves, with minimum assistance.
Does anybody know of such technology?"

I will be attending the Learning Disabilities and Technology Summer
Institute at the end of the month in Montreal. About 40 people from England,
Canada, and the US will gather to discuss the use of technology with
students with learning disabilities, and we will be trying out many of the
new products. When I return, I would be happy to post some of the
information on the discussion list. While I feel certain technology is not
going to replace teachers and tutors completely, it is certainly a wonderful
tool for learning and for assisting an adult, in particular, to handle the
requirements of the job market.

Would a bibliography of available assistive technology and teaching programs
be useful if we put this on the LINCS LD Special Collections site? Do you
need publisher information, too?
Let me know.
