Hi folks;
I was wondering if has advise on how I can learn Hebrew and to read music when I have a processing disorder.
Both have been a great struggle for me. I am thinking about becoming a Cantor and need to be proficient in both.
I also need to know whether learning moveable or fixed doe, would help me more with my disability.
Right now it takes me a very long time learn songs and the difficulty I had learning Hebrew led to my getting tested for an ld. My Hebrew is at a beginners level. I only recently started to learn to read music and I am no way close.
I have a BA in Political Science (I was 24 when I finished college) and did not discover this learning disability until age 34. When I started fully applying myself in my thirties, the progress was dismally slow.
Thank you....I would greatly appreciate any advise, suggestions, contacts and/or information..Sincerley,
Sally B. Brown
