Several hundred people are subscribed to this list, many from remote places where they don't have access to professional development or colleagues with whom to discuss issues or concerns they may have. This list is important to them in many ways and they look forward to healthy, deep discussions on theories, research, ideas, and practices. I know many of us have very strong opinions on certain issues, and, at times, we may get personal or impatient.
