Andrea,
My point exactly - if you can't  file your taxes correctly for consulting
money earned but taxes were not withheld - and you file just having
"read" but not "comprehended" the tax file - and just happen not to
report your earnings correctly-  those IRS folks will come a knockin' --
when you tell them you read the book - you can start singing the blues
about how you sounded out the words - hey most likely they'll just throw
the book at you! : - )

I for one, can't read the tax manual - it is a specific form of document
literacy that I hire a guy to do for me!
