Using any one of four separate instruments according to pretest "Locator" results, you can evaluate grade 0 thru 12.9+ skills in Reading, Math Computation, Applied Math, Language, and Spelling. TABE has been one of the prime academic reference systems for as long as I've been in adult lit (since '87) and probably before. The four separate inst are titled: E - easy, M - Medium, D - difficult, and A - advanced and each one involves higher degree of difficulty according to the grade level they evaluate.
