Please, let's focus on what the child can do. Maybe reading is important,
and maybe it isn't.

I have a son who has had trouble reading. We struggled all through school and
he squeaked by, by the skin of his teeth. Then he attended and graduated
from Nashville Auto Diesel School. He's working for a major company in our
area repairing John Deere farm equuipment. His employer has sent him for
additional training. He drives a truck about one size smaller than a movig
van, which is a shop in itself.

He can read what he needs to read. He keeps his own records, and by golly,
that kid is making more money that I'll ever see!

>From the time he could hold a tool, he began developing his talents (not
always to our pleasure), and he is sure using them!

Lucille, encourage your son to work on his reading, and let him develop in
his own path. Education means to "Lead out."
