You may be interested in one or more of the following distance training
opportunities for 2002 related to employment for persons with disabilities.

The RRTC on Workplace Supports will be offering five "Web Cast" training
programs in 2002.  These sessions offer a half-hour live presentation (video
and audio) via the Internet, followed by a half-hour live chatroom.  To
participate, you will need a computer with an Internet connection and
RealPlayer.  All sessions will be presented from 2 to 3 pm EST

 Topics and presenters include:

 "Self Employment for Individuals with Disabilities" with Cary Griffin;
February 12, 2002

 "Social Security and the Ticket to Work" with Ken McGill; April 22, 2002

 "The Future Impact of Technology on Employment for People with
Disabilities" with Lex Freiden; July 15, 2002

 "Self Determination: The Most Natural Support" with Michael Wehmeyer;
September 23, 2002

 "Supporting A Person with Difficult Behaviors - Supporting the People Who
Care" with David Pitonyak; November 18, 2002

 There are four registration options:
1) Individual Subscription to all five events - $125
2) Agency Subscription to all five events (up to five participants each) -
$400
3) Individual access to a single event - $35
4) Agency access to a single event (up to five participants) - $100
