I am afraid I am not in your neck of the woods, but I hope you know someone who is. I am located in Westmont (a suburb of Chicago, IL). My new husband I figured out is illiterate. He has a heart of gold, but I soon learned when I took him to renew his drivers license and when he became unemployed from a job he's been at more than 10 years. He needed his drivers license to keep the job. I feel, he deserve the opportunity to learn. He has slow comprehension and has a habit of conversing about hearsay rather than facts. There are other mental disabilities I need to discuss with a tutor. We have not insurance, therefore, it is hard to get him into a mental disability program. I am sure there is more involved than illiteracy, but his family is no help. Please, if you can recommend some hope for him, we would appreciate the help. < on 4/29/02 3:16 PM, Loretha Gross at lorgross@mychi.com wrote: < < > I have been trying to open different emails from your address being < sent to < > me, however, I am confused because the emails are saying "virus." < > < > Please help and resend the email at your earliest convenience.
