Steck Vaughn has GED practice test both in large print and on an audio cassette. We use a screen magnifier for the computer. Also, textbooks can be scanned and read aloud with a Kurzweil reader. Opera software is a free download from the internet for reading internet sites (there are many) that help raise skills. You can request a tape for the GED test from your state GED tester.

You can get good information from the American Foundation for the Blind
National Literacy Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Call 404-525-2303 and ask for
either Tina Tucker or Ike Pressley. They have recently done some national
training around this issue and would be able to assist you with making
contact with people in your area who can be good resources for you.

What resources are available for GED students who are visually impaired and
are in need of large print or other accommodation?

What strategies might be appropriate for such a student?
