This young man is also extremely tenacious. Your work with him sounds magnificent. I haven't studied what you say in great detail because Friday is my clean-up day and I have....miles to go before I sleep...metaphorically speaking. Some of what he has sounds like a timing delay, in getting the visual images together at the same time--that is, they don't come together. Food? What a strategy! This is a great case study. About 1/3-2/3 of dyslexics can be helped by the overlay I believe.What the overlays do is make the eyes switch to the cells that process color,and this helps stabilize the image.
