The Marion Huber Learning Through Listening (LTL) Awards:
The LTL awards, established in perpetuity by generous RFB&D donor Marion
Huber in 1990, are the first national awards exclusively for high school
seniors with learning disabilities. Applicants must meet all six of the
following eligibility criteria:

1. Have a specific learning disability;

2. Be registered individually, or through a school, with RFB&D for at least
one year prior to March 1, 2005;

3. Be a member of the 2005 graduating class of either a public or private
high school in the US or its territories;

4. Have an overall grade point average of B or above (or the equivalent, if
an alternative grading system is used), in grades 10 through 12;

5. Plan to continue their formal education beyond high school at either a
two-or four-year college or a vocational school;

6. Provide evidence of leadership, enterprise and service to others.

Three top winners will receive $6,000 each and three Special Honors winners
will receive $2,000 each.

The deadline for this award is March 1, 2005
