I am embarking on a small research project looking into the gifts and challenges brought to the field by special ed teachers who themselves have learning disabilities. I would like to interview a dozen or so such teachers, preferably in person (I'm based in Boston), but via phone is a possibility as well. In particular, I am looking for public school special ed teachers who have been formally diagnosed with LD at some point in their lives and who have been teaching for at least 5 years. If you know of a good candidate for this research, please contact me back channel. Thanks so much- Arlyn Roffman aroffman@mail.lesley.edu
