In regards to your organization following standards/guidelines go with W3C. A great site that will offer answer a lot of your questions is(http://www.watchfire.com/products/desktop/bobby/faq.aspx). Once you have run you site through the diagnosis resources pass along to you webmaster -- if your site is complicated most the changes should be pretty quick to clean up -- 2) My experience is mixed with regards to agencies following 508 guidelines. The am glad the guidelines are in place but there is so much that still needs to be looked with electronic accessibility. We have a long ways to go - in order to ensure equal access to individuals with disabilities. One area that needs to be looked at closely is on-line degrees. The on-line institutions need to make sure they are using accessible e-learning systems. Organizations like WebCT and Blackboard still have a way to go -- Other Resources http://www.catea.org/about.php http://www.accesselearning.net/ Dr. Lee, As a coordinator of a technology project in Florida, we are working hard to make our Florida TechNet pages accessible to adults with disabilities. In a previous post, you mentioned WAVE. I went to the website and "waved" the Florida TechNet page. I'm not sure what the difference is between having your page "wave" approved and "Bobby" approved. Can you shed some light on that? Also, what's been your experience with web sites attempting to conform with Section 508 guidelines? Thanks, Debra L.
